Learn programming in your native language.
From "Hello, world" to real projects. Simple syntax, clear commands and a safe environment for teenagers.
Why SomonScript?
The language removes technical barriers so that you can focus on logic.
The Tajik language
The keywords are Tajik words: 'агар' (if), 'барои' (for), 'функсия' (function), 'чоп' (print). Nothing to translate in your head.
Safe and simple
Errors are explained in plain language. The environment helps you instead of punishing you.
Instant results
Write code in the browser or on your computer and see the result right away. No complicated setup.
Moving on to TypeScript and JavaScript
becomes easy
SomonScript is a bridge. Once you understand the logic in your native language, moving to professional languages is much easier.
You learn the logic
Without worrying about English keywords.
You understand the core ideas
Loops, conditions and functions.
You step into the wider world
Now you can pick up TypeScript or JavaScript quickly.
функсия салом(ном: сатр) {
агар (ном !== "") {
чоп.сабт("Салом " + ном);
}
}function greet(name: string) {
if (name !== "") {
console.log("Hello " + name);
}
}What is ready today?
Everything is free and open source (MIT): the lessons, the tasks and the compiler in the browser.
From the first line on the screen to objects. Every example runs in the browser.
Write a solution and press "Check": the tests show the result at once.
The compiler explains an error in Tajik, Russian or English and suggests how to fix it.
Frequently asked questions
What is SomonScript?
SomonScript is a programming language whose keywords are Tajik words: агар (if), барои (for), функсия (function), чоп (print). Programs compile to JavaScript, so they run in a browser or with Node.js.
Who is it for?
For school students, beginners and teachers. 18 lessons, from the first чоп to objects, cover the core topics of programming: variables, conditions, loops, functions and lists.
Do I need to install anything?
No: the lessons and the playground run in the browser. For your own projects you need Node.js 20 or newer and the command npm install -g @lindentech/somon-script.
Is it free?
Yes. SomonScript is free software under the MIT license, and its source code is open on GitHub.
In which language are errors explained?
In Tajik, Russian or English. An error message points to the line and often suggests how to fix it.
How does SomonScript relate to TypeScript?
Programs have the same structure as in TypeScript: types (сатр, рақам, мантиқӣ) are optional, and the program becomes JavaScript. After SomonScript, moving on to TypeScript and JavaScript is easy.
